CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED: Mississippi licensure within the applicable time frame.
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and/or kinesiology.
Knowledge of principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of physical and mental dysfunctions and for counseling and guidance.
Interpersonal skills to interact with patients, family members, and staff.
Ability to observe, assess, and record symptoms, reactions, and progress.
Ability to motivate individuals to set and attain goals.

Requires occasional handling or working with potentially dangerous equipment, occasional exposure to biohazardous conditions such as risk of radiation exposure, blood borne pathogens, fumes or airborne particles, and/or toxic or caustic chemicals which mandate attention to safety considerations, occasional travelling to offsite locations, frequent activities subject to significant volume changes of a seasonal/clinical nature, constant work produced subject to precise measures of quantity and quality, constant bending, occasional lifting and carrying more than 100 pounds, occasional climbing, occasional crawling, frequent crouching/stooping, constant kneeling, occasional pushing/pulling, constant reaching, frequent sitting, constant standing, frequent twisting, and constant walking. (occasional-up to 20%, frequent-from 21% to 50%, constant-51% or more)
