The Anna Jaques Hospital Registered Nurse is an active participant in the health care team who provides direct and indirect care to patients/ families/ significant others, utilizing the components of the nursing process in accordance with the philosophy, objectives, value and mission behaviors of the of the patient care division. Job Description: Registered Nurse (RN) - 24 hrs/wk (3p-3a), every other week Anna Jaques Emergency Department (ED) serve s as the primary point of entry for patients accessing emergency services. As a Registered Nurse (RN) for our ED , you will be responsible for the following: Complete assessments, administer medications/treatments, observes patients progress and evaluates therapies for clinical outcomes and effectiveness Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to develop an optimal health care strategy plan for each patient Support and educate patients and their loves ones to achieve maximum outcomes Along with excellent critical thinking skills, a desire to exceed patient expectations and good interpersonal skills, are required Required Qualifications: State of Massachusetts RN licensure (or eligibility) BLS Certification Preferre d Qualifications: At least one year of nursing experience in an acute or sub-acute care setting BSN ACLS, PALS Certification ( required within 6 weeks of hire) TNCC Certification As a health care organization, we have a responsibility to do everything in our power to care for and protect our patients, our colleagues and our communities.
