Qualifications:

  • Some experience or education in a medical office or hospital admissions preferred

Essential Functions:

As a Patient Service Representative, you'll be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

  • Opening and closing the building according to protocol
  • Verifying cash box count and completing daily reports
  • Collecting co-pays and outstanding balances
  • Answering phones and checking voicemail
  • Greeting patients and visitors with a friendly demeanor
  • Checking in patients and updating demographic information
  • Scanning and processing documents
  • Assisting with financial policies and patient assistance applications
  • Monitoring patient wait times and rescheduling appointments as needed
  • Supporting coworkers and assisting with other tasks as required
