Job Description


The Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator-Nursing develops, plans, implements and maintains all aspects of the learning management system for internal and external audiences. This role analyzes updates and collaborates with System stakeholders at all levels on a consistent basis to ensure content remains timely and relevant. The LMS Administrator analyzes current procedures to identify and develop opportunities to improve efficiency, and maximize department productivity, and develops, organizes and manages programs, events and special projects. Salary range: $28.78- $59.34/hourly

Required: * Bachelor’s degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training support roles * Working knowledge of functional area and understands how work within one course may impact work being done on other courses or in other areas. * Demonstrated analytical skills to conduct analysis and develop recommendations, demonstrating organization and problem-solving skills. * Proficiency in analytical, verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, collaboration and negotiation skills. * Working knowledge of organization policies and procedures, including policies that impact online course development. * Working knowledge of instructional design principles and learning strategies, including needs analysis, backwards design, learning outcomes and assessment design, and instructional approaches including lecture, discussion, activities, projects, etc. * Working knowledge of the technical tools and platforms required to achieve the delivery of engaging and media-rich online learning content, and of trends in the use and effectiveness of educational technology and learning. * Working knowledge and skills with relevant business software systems. * Working knowledge of adult learning theories and education methodologies. * Working knowledge of e-learning strategies including but not limited to courses (e.g., processes and technologies, etc.). * Proficiency in planning, resourcing and monitoring effective design life cycles of training and other learning and performance solutions to support the organization.  Preferred: * Knowledge of the UCLA Operating System and learning management systems preferred * Knowledge of Cornerstone OnDemand preferred
