Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – Emergency Department (ED) Fast-paced, high volume emergency department is looking for top skilled registered nurses. Is that you Work location: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas, TX 75231 Work hours: Full Time Day Shifts; 7:00 am – 7:00 pm, Weekends and holiday requirements Emergency Department highlights: · Self-Scheduling that helps with work/life balance as well as opportunities for educational and career growth · Engaged leadership team · Focused collaboration with multidisciplinary team · Unit with great resources to provide the best patient care possible Here’s What You Need: · LVN – Licensed Vocational Nurse upon hire required and · BCLS – Basic Cardiac life Support prior to providing independent patient are and maintained quarterly required · Previous LVN experience in an acute care setting helpful What You Will Do: · Collaborates with team to facilitate hourly rounding and initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information · Safely administers medication in accordance with medication administration guidelines. · Plans the care of the patient · Serves as patient advocate · Works in partnership with peers, other disciplines, and unlicensed assistive personnel. · In collaboration with RN incorporates evidence based practice and research to monitor and continuously impact outcomes · Individualizes care measures to reflect specific patient population. Performs technical procedures safely, proficiently.
