Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Internal Medicine Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Certified Medical Assistant **Sign-On for Eligible New Hires** Work location : 3301 Unicorn Lake Blvd., Denton TX, 76210 Work hours: Fulltime, Monday – Thursday 7:45am – 5:30pm and Friday 7:45am – 12pm Internal Medicine Department highlights: Energetic internal medicine office with four providers Conveniently located in the Union Lake Medical Practice area! New grads welcomed with CMA certification! Here’s What You Need High School Diploma or equivalent (required) CMA – Current Medical Assistant Certification (required) 6 months CMA experience (preferred) Experience multitasking in a fast-paced clinic (preferred) EMR, Epic experience (preferred) ACLS or BLS (preferred) Non-Certified Radiologic Technician training (may be required) What You Will Do Delivers care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant Process Conducts patient check out, surgery scheduling and post operative calls as primary function of position Communicates with patient regarding test results and plan of care by phone or mail as directed by physician Provides for patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights Ability to multitask May work in the front office as needed May perform other duties as assigned by practice manager, more senior staff, or as requested by healthcare provider(s) Additional perks of being a Texas Health employee Benefits include 401k, PTO, medical, dental, Paid Parental Leave, flex spending, tuition reimbursement, Student Loan Repayment Program as well as several other benefits .
