Cytotechnologist Fast-paced, high energy Lab department is looking for a top skilled Cytotechnologist. Is that you? Work location: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas, Texas 75231 Work hours: Fulltime, Monday – Friday; 1 st Shift Anatomic Pathology Department highlights: · Frozen Section Assistance · Special Stains · Immunohistochemistry · Gross Room Here’s What You Need Associate’s Degree Cytology or related field pre 1988 Required Or Bachelor’s Degree Cytology or related field post 1988 Required And Other completion of training from an approved school of cytotechnology Req Experience 3 Years cytology experience including Preferred and 1 Year in hospital specialty Preferred. Licenses and Certifications CT(ASCP) – Cytotechnologist Upon Hire Required Or CT(IAC) – Cytotechnologist Upon Hire Required Or SCT(ASCP) – Specialist in Cytotechnology Upon Hire Required What You Will Do · Assist with Fine Needle Aspirations – Thyroid, EBUS, EUS · Process and Screen NonGyn and FNA specimens · Specimen Processing – This includes all phases of Gyn and Non-Gyn processing from initial accessioning, computer order entry, raw specimen to slide processing, staining, cover slipping and reflex testing specimen preparation.
