Job Description

Back Office Supervisor – Adult Care Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Back Office Supervisor. Work location: 902 West Randol Mill Road Arlington TX 76012 Work hours: Full Time, 40 hours weekly, Monday – Friday 8:00am-5:00pm Adult Care Department highlights: Our vision is to be recognized as a healthcare leader by promoting healthy patient outcomes and inspiring our employees toward personal and professional development Here’s What You Need High School Diploma or equivalent (required) Associate’s degree business or healthcare related field (preferred) Or Other Accredited school of practical nursing program LVN Req Or Other Accredited Certified Medical Assistant program CMA Req 1 year of medical practice management or relevant clinic leadership experience (required) and 4 years of Medical Assistant or LVN experience (required) CMA – Certified Medical Assistant (required) or LVN – Licensed Vocational Nurse (required) ACLS or BCLS (preferred) Other additional specialty certifications, if applicable (required upon hire) What You Will Do Supervises the workflow and workload of the team to ensure efficiency. Maintains staff schedules and adjusts schedules according to the volume needs of the department. Ensures that staff is current in competencies, assessments, licensure, certifications and other annual training. Monitors staff’s time and attendance consistent with THR policies. Assists Practice Manager with employee performance initiatives to include check ins. Provides input on employee discipline, coaching and improvement plans with the manager. Works with employees to correct deficiencies in performance or tasks. Handles employee complaints and grievances in collaboration with Practice Manager. Assists Practice Manager with coordination of scheduling of clinical operations to ensure proper coverage of patient appointments and out-of-office calls. Ensures work environment complies with regulatory, licensure, compliance and accreditation requirements by monitoring the work setting on an ongoing basis to identify deficiencies, risk, and opportunities for improvement.
