Description

We are looking for highly skilled and committed Clinical Laboratory Scientists to join UCLA Health! As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, you play a key role in providing the best diagnostic support for our patients. Primary duties include, but are not limited to: • Perform Donor Quality Assurance (DQA) functions for the review and final release of manufactured blood products. • Perform instrument and equipment calibration, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. About: The Component Processing Laboratory (CPL) processes different components (i.e. whole blood, packed red blood cells, fresh frozen plasma, apheresis platelets, and pre-pooled cryoprecipitated AHF) from blood donations. Salary Range: $51.76 - $68.97/hour
Qualifications

• Current, valid California Clinical Lab Scientist license. • Bachelor’s degree. • Previous experience working in a Blood Donation Center setting or DQA experience is highly desirable. • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and other shifts as needed.
