BA/BS in biological sciences required. Knowledge and experience in chromosome analysis, cytogenetics and molecular biology preferred. Training in OSHA, Bloodborne Pathogen Standard, Advanced Fire/Safety, Infection Control and Departmental Safety are required annually. 4-6 years of cytogenetic experience required. ASCP certification is preferred or would need to be obtained once in the position Must have the ability to work independently, as well as multitask and be very organized.
