The Department of Medicine is seeking a motivated Staff Research Associate II to serve as a research associate for the Autism Intervention Research Network on Physical Health (AIR-P). The purpose of the AIR-P is to establish and maintain an interdisciplinary, multicenter research platform for scientific collaboration and infrastructure building. In this role, you will support and carry out an extensive range of research-related duties, including supporting recruitment and enrollment efforts; conducting surveys and interviews; implementing interventions and programs in accordance with research programming; carrying out project coordination tasks; and fulfilling other administrative duties. You will also contribute meaningfully to internal research productivity as well as to ensuring the productivity of the overall AIR-P, including the Collaborating Research Entities (CREs) and other network partners and collaborators. Finally, you may also provide administrative, research, policy analysis and/or writing support to other related projects as needed. Target hourly rate: $27.09-$43.58
Qualifications

Required: 1.Experience with data analysis and interpretation. Familiarity with both quantitative and qualitative data analysis. 2.Experienced in summarizing and presenting data for reports and presentation. 3.Experienced in research project coordination. Ability to prioritize group tasks, and manage projects & teams. 4.Strong problem solving skills. Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic environment based on changing priorities and frequent interruptions. 5.Excellent team skills, interacting well with individuals of diverse backgrounds. Experience with establishing and maintaining effective and cooperative working relationships with faculty, staff, and research partners, and maintaining a helpful attitude at all times. 6.Experience with community outreach and community-based organizations. 7.Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally and effectively with a variety of individuals including faculty, staff, research partners and participants. 8.Familiarity with data analysis software, such as SPSS, SAS, and/or Stata Strongly Preferred: 1.A master’s degree in public health, public policy, or other relevant field, and 2 years experience in a research setting, or comparable training and previous project coordination experience. Preferred: 1.Experience with data collection and/or analyses for medical research. 2. Experience dealing with human subject and IRB submissions.
