The Radiology Technologist will provide diagnostic imaging for patients to assist the patient’s physician in expediting needed care.
Job duties include performing or assisting in procedures per department protocols; maintaining a clean and safe work environment; utilizing proper procedures for identifying images, patients and marking images correctly for interpretation; and ordering exams that match the procedures being performed. Customer service is essential, and this position will address patient needs with age-specific criteria, from neonates to geriatrics. Call is required for this position, and the incumbent must meet the call back standards established for General Radiology.
This position will also assist in a QA review to maintain professional standards for themselves and student technologists that they are called upon to assist.
New Starting Pay Rate
The starting pay for this position was recently adjusted based on current demand for this role. The minimum hourly rate for this position will now be $23.02/hour. All pay rates will be based on candidate’s experience.
