Job Description

The Physician Assistant provides high quality primary care or designated specialty care to promote the enhancement of health and prevention of illness. Requirements: Successful completion of an approved Physician Assistant program Over three (3) years of recent clinical experience required Current certification and licensure as a Physician Assistant in the State of Washington NCCPA (National Commission on Certified of Physicians Assistants) certification preferred BLS Certification Must successfully complete OR and clinic competencies within 120 days of employment For Information on Employee Benefits Salary Range: $52.58 - $78.88 per hour

Island Hospital is 43 bed acute care hospital. Each patient room is single occupancy and all of the acute care rooms have a ceiling lift, and private bathroom with a shower. We have six Specialty Care Clinics and five Family Care Clinics providing specialty services that include: Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Sleep Wellness Center, Behavioral Health, Wound Care, and Sleep Wellness. Our inpatient and outpatient services include: Acute Care, Emergency Services, Birthing Center, Surgical Services, Diagnostic Imaging, Physical, Occupational & Speech Therapy. We also support our community by offering Community Education classes and various screenings.
