Chaplain will provide pastoral care to patients and families in the North Region of the HOC territory in homecare and long term care settings. Prefer MDiv or equivalent. Prefer at least 3 units of CPE. Participates in on-call rotation of chaplain team. Chaplain also provides support to HOC staff in the north region. Participate in IDT meetings.
CHAPLAIN: Provides pastoral care to patients and families. Provides ministry in crisis situations. Participates in on call as appropriate.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Theology Clinical Pastoral Education Other Hospice: Certified, or meets a certification committee within three years by APC, NACC, NAJC or ACPE: Hospitals:Certified, or meets a certification committee within three years by APC, NACC, NAJC or ACPE
EXPERIENCE: 3-4 years Professional in Chaplaincy; 2 years desired outside of training; Clinical Pastoral Education
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: 1 unit of Clinical Pastoral Education.
