Under the leadership of the ChiefMedical Officer, the Nurse Practitioner evaluates, treats, and makesappropriate diagnostic and specialty referrals for our patients. As part of amultidisciplinary team, the NP works cooperatively with peers on medicalmanagement issues, changes in medical practice and procedures, and the designof more effective and efficient service delivery. The NP reports to the AssociateMedical Director. The NP is an integral part of the clinic staff, providingleadership and expertise on medical and patient care issues. The NP workscooperatively all Clinic departments including nursing, pharmacy, cliniccoordinators, and Behavioral Health staff. The position requires flexibility indays and hours for clinical care, as some evening are included in the weeklyschedule. This is a 100% career position. Salary range:$80.28-$115.37 Hourly
Qualifications

All Required: Graduation from accredited School of Nursing -MSN/DNP with a FNP Specialty - required. Current, valid CA Nurse Practitioner License and CA RN License-required Demonstrated skill in delivery of patient care -required Demonstrated work experience over 2 years in family practice or internal medicine-required Working knowledge of State of California clinic licensing requirements- required Demonstrated work experience of over 2 years in management of outpatient medical problems- required Demonstrated experience in supervising and training clinic personnel-required Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with people of various educational, social, cultural and economic backgrounds-required Leadership skills to represent project and issues and to initiate problem solving-required Preferred: Bilingual Spanish/ English communication skills-preferred Working knowledge of other health, mental health and social services agencies in the area-preferred
