Your role as a Med Tech/Med Lab Tech will be to perform routine and complex laboratory tests throughout the clinical laboratory to provide physicians with rapid and accurate laboratory test results. This position can be both technical and non-technical in nature. You will have some blood bank responsibilities practicing here as a generalist. You will need to possess either a BS or Associate Degree in Medical Technology or required experience as acceptable under CLIA ’88.

As a Med Tech, you should possess technical instrument operation and calibration skills, have a knowledge base of good laboratory practice, use good judgment without direct supervision, prioritize tasks, participate in continuing education, maintain supply inventory, and communicate professionally.
