NETWORK ENGINEER: The Network Engineer’s role is to assist in design, build, and implement network systems across the enterprise. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all local and wide area network connections, associated software, and communication links. This person will also troubleshoot network performance issues, as well as analyze network traffic and provide capacity planning solutions. Provides second and third level support to our customer base. Interfaces with vendor support service groups to ensure proper escalation during outages or periods of degraded system performance.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: Associate's Degree or Diploma
EXPERIENCE: 3-4 years in a related field
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: Technical knowledge of network systems, protocols, and standards; Network management and analysis tools. Working in and configuring switched and routed environment. Hardware, software, and network connection troubleshooting..
