Job Description

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Graduate of a program of Radiology Technology Two (2) or more modality certifications and/or three (3) years of experience Current license with ARRT – The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Current license with the TMB – Texas Medical Board Registered in two disciplines of Radiography, Nuclear Medicine, Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography, Mammography, Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Quality Management, Sonography, Bone Densitometry, Vascular-Interventional Radiography, Breast Sonography, Vascular Sonography, and Abdomen Sonography Current BLS from AHA – The American Heart of Association Clinical knowledge needed to perform general radiographic procedures and / or specialty areas Ability to work closely with all other technologists, radiologists, medical staff, patients, public and other hospital personnel Effective communication skills Acts in a professional manner, responds to patient needs and supports colleagues and associates in providing quality patient care     PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS Associates Degree Registered in more than two disciplines COMPANY PROFILE Citizens Medical Center is a not-for-profit, community hospital known for compassionate patient care, clinical expertise, and bringing advanced medical services to the South Texas region since 1956. About Citizens Memorial Hospital

CMH is a combination of two corporate entities: Citizens Memorial Hospital District (a public hospital district established in 1978) and Citizens Memorial Health Care Foundation (a 501(c)(3) foundation established in 1986).

Together, they operate a rural integrated delivery system with one Chief Executive Officer/Executive Director, and two Boards of Directors. CMH serves a rural, eight-county area in southwest Missouri with a population of 100,000+. Citizens Memorial Hospital opened its doors Sept. 28, 1982.

The Hospital also includes the clinic system and provides the following services:

  • Acute care. 86-beds including Medical/Surgical, Intensive Care Unit, Telemetry, Birthing Unit (The Birth Place), Heart Center, Geriatric Psychiatry, Level II STEMI Center, and a full complement of Outpatient Services. CMH is a sole community provider hospital.
  • Emergency Services. Level III Trauma Center and ambulance services for four counties (Cedar, Polk, Hickory and St. Clair).
  • Ambulatory Care. 34 Physician Offices, 12 of which are certified Rural Health Clinics.

Citizens Memorial Health Care Foundation was established to assist the Hospital with future growth and operates the following services:

  • Long Term Care. 6 Long-Term Care Facilities with a total of 705 beds, 1 residential care center and 5 independent living communities for seniors.
  • Home Care Services. Home Care, Hospice (also Palliative Care), Home Medical Equipment and Health Transit.
  • Retail pharmacies in Bolivar and Osceola.
