The Department of Neurology at Mayo Clinic in Phoenix/Scottsdale, Arizona is seeking a Neurologist with expertise in neuromuscular disease and autonomic disorders to join our practice.
The Neuromuscular Division is looking for a subspecialty-trained physician who is board certified in Neurology and board certified or board eligible in Neuromuscular Medicine. Expertise in performance and interpretation of autonomic reflex studies and the clinical care of people with autonomic disorders is required. Additional necessary skills and clinical responsibilities include neuromuscular disease care in outpatient and inpatient environments, performance and interpretation of EMG and evoked potentials.
Candidates must have strong clinical skills and have a demonstrated track record of academic success in research and education. They must also demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and capacity to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team of consultants and support staff. Neuromuscular Division faculty are actively engaged in education of medical students, residents, and clinical neurophysiology fellows. As one of the most active autonomic clinics and labs in the nation, our environment provides rich opportunities for collaborative research. Applicants with considerable post-fellowship experience and evidence of academic productivity in autonomic disorders are preferred.
