ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a full-time Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist (MD) to join a hospital-based IR team consisting of three physicians and two advanced practice providers. The role involves performing a range of interventional radiology procedures for primarily adult and geriatric patients in a Level I trauma facility, with an average of eight cases per day. The position follows a day-shift schedule with rotating Q3 call coverage and is offered as a locum placement.

Call Schedule:
Q3 call (every third weekday and every third weekend)
Call ratio: 1:3 among interventional radiologists
Coverage Expectations: Prefer local providers; will consider traveling providers able to cover 2 3+ weeks per month
Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days (may be expedited due to urgent need)
Provide interventional radiology procedures in a hospital environment.
Work collaboratively within a team of 3 IR physicians and 2 APPs, supported by a manager and clinical staff.
Perform approximately 8 cases per day in a Level I trauma center serving mostly adult and geriatric patients.
Perform a variety of procedures, including:
Angioplasty
Stent placement
Embolization
Needle biopsy
Thrombolysis
Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE)
Manage additional interventional cases related to orthopedics, gynecology, and urology.
Participate in scheduled weekday and weekend call rotations and handle callbacks when required.
Document clinical work as required (EMR system not specified).
Certifications & Licensing
Board Certified in Interventional Radiology (required)
Active Michigan medical license (required; IMLC/compact not accepted)
BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
Experience & Compliance
Clean malpractice and license history (highly preferred)
NPDB self-query within 30 days at time of submission (required)

Travel providers considered if they can provide consistent multi-week monthly coverage
