A free-standing emergency department in Tampa, Florida is seeking Board-Certified Emergency Medicine physicians for locum coverage. This opportunity supports a short-term scheduling need with ongoing shift availability in a well-supported, lower-volume clinical environment affiliated with a major health system.

This is a physician-led model with Advanced Practice Provider (APP) coverage working alongside physicians to support patient flow and clinical efficiency.

• Location: Tampa, FL
• Short-term coverage need with 18+ open shifts
• 12-hour shifts
• Flexible scheduling: days, nights, and swing shifts available
• Annual patient volume: 21,000 visits
• EMR: Epic
• Scribe support provided
• Travel physicians welcome
• APPs on-site working in collaboration with supervising physicians

• Free-standing emergency department affiliated with a regional health system
• Physician coverage supported by APPs during peak and off-peak hours
• Lower-volume, efficient workflow setting
• Strong clinical and operational support team
• Established transfer pathways for higher-acuity patients

• Board Certified ABEM or ABFM
• Active ACLS and PALS certifications
• Emergency Medicine experience required
• Comfortable working in a freestanding ED environment with APP collaboration
