A well-established Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Brooklyn is seeking a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner to join its growing OB/GYN team.
This opportunity is ideal for a compassionate, patient-focused provider who is passionate about women's health, preventive care, and serving diverse communities. The Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive OB/GYN care across the lifespan while working within a collaborative multidisciplinary healthcare team.
What You'll DoPerform comprehensive women's health assessments and physical examinations
Provide preventive, acute, and chronic gynecologic care
Conduct screenings, diagnostic evaluations, treatment planning, and follow-up care
Educate patients on reproductive health, wellness, disease prevention, and treatment options
Order and interpret diagnostic testing and laboratory studies
Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and ancillary healthcare providers
Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and community health programs
Support patient access, continuity of care, and positive health outcomes
Active New York Nurse Practitioner license
National certification as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP)
Minimum two years of clinical experience
Strong women's health and OB/GYN clinical skills
Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems
Excellent communication and patient education abilities
FQHC or Community Health Center experience
Experience serving underserved or multicultural patient populations
Bilingual English/Spanish
Strong interest in preventative and community-based healthcare
