| Required License/Registration/Certification | Nationally certified Pharmacy Technician by either PTCB (PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT); Registered with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire. |
| Physical Requirements | May include standing for greater than 5 hours at a time and possibly walking several miles per day. May require the ability to reach items above shoulder level, or below and be able to lift up to 25 pounds. |
| Shift | Must be available to work during operating hours of Monday-Friday (7:00am-9:00pm), Saturday-Sunday (8:30am-5:00pm). May be required to work on some holidays and/or weekends which currently are being rotated by all Ambulatory Pharmacy Services staff. Position may work a rotating schedule during the hours of operation which equates to a 40 hour work week. Must have availability to work during operating hours. |
| Job Summary | Support of pharmacy operations as a pharmacy technician providing assistance to the pharmacist in filling, billing, and dispensing medications as well assistance with inventory management as part of the job duties. Provides customer service and assistance to patients in a retail pharmacy setting. There is an internal candidate being considered. |
