Summary
General Hours of Work
Part time, evening shifts from 4pm - 9pm and 6pm - 9pm, rotating weekends, and rotating holidays.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma of GED preferred, but not required. Experience in working with the elderly population preferred, but not required.
Certificate, Licenses, Registrations
Certified Nurse Aide Certification preferred, but not required. Must obtain CPR certification within 3 months of hire date.
Essential Functions
Completes assigned responsibilities as delegated by RN supervisor to care for each individual resident.
Provides feedback to RN/LPN supervisor regarding resident care and reports resident concern appropriately.
Assures safety of all residents.
Assists with meal set up and serving. Assures that all residents are provided meals (either in their room or through the dining room) that receive meal service.
Cleans all community areas: elevator, restrooms, offices, hallways, etc.
Assists activities coordinator with activities as needed.
Provides assistance for residents as needed or requested for daily living, including, but not limited to, transfers, general housekeeping and laundry services.
Completes charting and documentation on residents, available to take vital signs.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
