Professional Recruiter- Recruitment Experience Required

Job Description

Recruitment:

  • Plans and implements an effective recruitment strategy for professional, licensed, technical and support personnel.
    Interviewing:
  • Conducts effective job interviews.
  • Screens applicants to include background checks, references, and verification of education & licensure when appropriate.
    Communication:
  • Consults with Hiring Managers to identify employment and business needs.
  • Describes available positions, benefits, and the wage/salary program to prospective employees.
  • Searches for qualified applicants using advertising, online tools, job fairs, visiting college campuses, or other innovative methods of sourcing potential talent.
  • Refers qualified applicants to Hiring Managers for employment consideration and follows up with Hiring Managers to determine applicant status.
    Consultation:
  • Serves as a resource to Leadership for Employment and other Human Resources issues.
  • Other duties as assigned Requirements:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Human Resources Admin istration or a health-related profession required OR equivalent of 4 years of recruitment/human resources/staffing industry experience beyond the minimum requirement, OR equivalent of 2 years of recruitment/human resources/staffing industry experience + an Associate Degree beyond the minimum requirement.
    • At least 1 year of previous staffing, recruiting and/or human resources experience required.
    • Working knowledge of PC’s and appropriate software applications; required
    • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills (written & verbal); required
    • Excellent organization and decision-making skills; required
    • Healthcare experience highly preferred
    • Professional HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP); preferred
