Environmental Services (EVS) Technician – Nights

Location: Anacortes, WA
Schedule: 1.0 FTE / 40 hours per week
Salary Range:  $19.37– $28.21 per hour

Differentials:

  • Nights – +$2.25/hr.
  • Evenings – +$1.65/hr.
  • Weekends – +$1.50/hr.

What You’ll Do

  • Clean and disinfect patient rooms, OR suites, recovery areas, offices, and clinics
  • Sanitize beds, furniture, counters, fixtures, and restrooms
  • Replace cubicle curtains and drapes in patient areas
  • Maintain resilient and carpeted floors, using mops, vacuums, and floor machines
  • Clean walls, windows, and equipment throughout the facility
  • Collect and dispose of trash, recyclable materials, and soiled linens
  • Unload, inspect, and distribute laundered items to patient care areas
  • Set up and clean conference rooms for meetings
  • Maintain equipment and storage rooms in a neat, safe, and sanitary condition
  • Read and follow chemical labels, ensuring proper dilution and use of cleaning agents

What You’ll Bring

  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and infection control
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs., stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks

The position involves working indoors in a healthcare environment and may involve exposure to cleaning agents, bodily fluids, or other substances common to hospital settings. Appropriate PPE and training are provided to ensure safety.
