EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 
Associate's degree (A.A.) in Lab Science from accredited school and/or meet CLIA requirements for high complexity testing. Bachelor's degree (B.S.) degree in Laboratory Science from accredited school and/or is certified as a MT/CLS by an approved program (ie. ASCP, NCA, HEW)
 
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Laboratory Technician Certification from approved program (ASCP, NCA, AMT).

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk, bend over; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.  The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
